I foresee LKY, GCT, WKS, RL and LSS will all be gone at the next GE. So the pap is really in trouble. Those who are truly capable will likely shun the pap. Conversely, the opposition will attract more capable candidates. The pap will suffer this double whammer . Not enough good PAP candidates facing more credible opponents at all GRCs and SMCs.

As I said, go for PAP's jugular at the next GE. I agree with you...go for LHL and TCH and keep them busy canvassing for votes at their GRCs so that they cant provide fire support at the other GRCs.

I hope it is. As a Singapore leader, LHL is getting from bad to worse. He does not fulfil his promise and is going back on his GE 2011 apology. He does not care for Singaporeans but is instead caring more for GDP growth and creating jobs for foreigners.
Either LHL doesnt contest at the next GE or else we need SG voters to kick him out.
We wont know for sure until his Creator takes him away or next GE comes along.
But my assessment is that LKY will not be around for the next GE.
Either way, he is obsolete and of no real consequence.

That would of course be the best case scenario, but we need to go one step at a time. Take down more GRCs, more, and even more, and soon enough the PAP would be deader than Saddam Hussein. But the problem is that at that stage, the opposition parties would have to fight among them to stand out, and soon enough when a monopoly survives for too long, we have, for example, a PAP-like NSP? That's 30-something years later so we care pretty much ignore it. It's still worth noting though, that a two-party system, be it PAP-WP or WP-SDP etc is still the best.
