Covid-19: 70 new cases in Singapore, 2 police officers infected to date
SINGAPORE — Singapore has confirmed another 70 new cases of Covid-19, the Ministry of Health (MOH) said on Saturday (March 28), bringing the total here to 802.
Of the new cases, 41 are imported, with travel history to Europe, North America, Association of Southeast Asian Nations and other parts of Asia. The other 29 are local cases who have no recent travel history abroad.
Among the 70, 15 cases are linked to clusters or previous cases and14 cases are unlinked, with contact tracing ongoing, said MOH.
So far, 198 patients have fully recovered from the infection and have been discharged, including 15 on Saturday.
Of the 420 confirmed cases who are still in hospital, most are stable or improving. Nineteen are in critical condition in the intensive care unit.
There are 182 patients who are clinically well but still test positive and they are isolated and cared for at Concord International Hospital, Mount Elizabeth Hospital, Gleneagles Hospital and the Community Isolation Facility at D’Resort NTUC.

Two have passed away from complications due to the infection.
TWO POLICE OFFICERS INFECTED
In a statement on Saturday, the Singapore Police Force (SPF) said that two of its officers have tested positive for Covid-19.
