BEWARE of drastic drop in temperature from TODAY, & its effect on immune system

1. There are noticeable changes in our weather system. National daily temperatures had been ranging between +2 or -2C for the past few months, even during the monsoon periods.

2. However, for the month of Feb, it had ranged from 31C to 26C at night, & such is only average national temp. Regions in Singapore may differ. And the winds are colder even when the sun shines. 26C is nothing to Humans living in higher latitudes but Singapore lays in the tropical region, & most had long ACCLIMATIZED to hot weather.

3. The Human body immune system is adaptable, but it is not that adaptable to drastic temp changes. Thus one needs to maintain such - enough sleep, proper protein diet & daily sweaty exercises as well as fastidious daily hygiene.

4. Should one feel a sudden chill, it is a warning sign from a weakened immune system, followed by fever. The only thing to do is SWEAT IT OUT. Cover one's body to the max, with blankets, off the aircon or fan. Sweaty wet clothes & bed sheets can be washed the next day at home or at laundry mats. The immune system NEEDS the heat to burn out viruses which cannot survive beyond 35C in Human body.

All the best to everyone...
