With all the Olympics excitement in the air, Beijing celebrates the global event with a grand gala
that gathers an all-star cast from all over the world.
Sing for the Olympic spirit and pass on the Olympic dream. This is the theme for the night that
brings together almost one hundred big-names and Olympic champions, 2,000 volunteers and
an over 5,000 member audience. Whether it’s pop or rock and roll, traditional or classical,
Chinese or international, the gala promises more than one could expect at a single show.
One highlight is the collaboration between Chinese band Phoenix Legend and Robert Band,
accompanied by dances both traditional Chinese and exotic. Another attention-grabber is the
theme song "Best Wishes from Beijing", joined in by some one hundred stars led by Jackie Chan.
The song’s music video is simultaneously released with its live performance.
