A Hefei bathhouse and spa is in hot water after police found prostitutes working on the second floor.
On January 1, 2015, Hong first rented the bathhouse in Luyang district, Hefei. Hong managed both the bathhouse and the prostitutes working there, and his partner Sun helped bring in clients and managed the payroll.
The set-up did not last long: on the evening of January 16, Hefei police raided the bathhouse and found men visiting prostitutes in VIP rooms 1, 13, 17, and 20 on the second floor. The police seized the establishment’s records, billing receipts, condoms and other incriminating items.
The bathhouse had listed price for different sexual services in code on their menu using the letters A-H. Police seized this as evidence. In their investigation, police found the spa had already had 260 customers that had visited prostitutes and had earned 120,000 Yuan from the visits.
Luyang District Court recently sentenced Hong to three years and six months in prison and fined him 80,000 Yuan for organizing prostitution activities.

今年1月1日，洪某某租赁庐阳区固镇路商铺经营合肥水之韵沐浴中心(下称“水之韵沐浴中心”)。浴场一楼为沐浴休闲区，二楼主要用来安排卖淫。
为了招揽生意，洪某某容留姜某、欧阳某、李某、豆某等多名卖淫女在二楼包间内从事卖淫活动。为了方便管理，洪某某聘请赵某担任水之韵沐浴中心经理，负责浴场日常经营管理，浴场营业款由赵某每日登记并收取后交给洪某某。期间，赵某还带领员工到加气站散发该沐浴中心的名片以招揽嫖客。
卖淫女的管理则由洪某某安排孙某负责，主要是给卖淫女编号、参与带领嫖客进入包间、给嫖客安排卖淫女等日常管理。卖淫女的薪资由洪某某核算后交给孙某，由孙某发给卖淫女，5天结算一次。
1月16日22:50，合肥市公安局经济技术开发区分局民警按市局指令，对庐阳区四里河水之韵沐浴休闲中心进行检查时，在二楼VIP1、13、17、20四个包厢中各查获一对卖淫嫖娼男女，并现场查获记录卖淫活动的记录本、结算单据及避孕套等物品。赵某、孙某被抓获后带回接受处理。 5月26日，洪某某投案自首。
记者获悉，为了掩饰不法行为，浴场用字母A-H表示卖淫的八种价格。警方经对查获的记录本、单据等进行统计，水之韵沐浴中心经营期间每天都有卖淫活动，卖淫女卖淫至少260余人次，得赃款约12万元。
日前，庐阳区法院以组织卖淫罪判处洪某某有期徒刑三年零六个月，并处罚金人民币8万元。同时，赵某和孙某均被判处有期徒刑二年零六个月。
