Enjoy the tranquil vibes (and low prices) while you can, they will not last with the PAP technocrats in charge.

Oh yeah, they have also cut down a lot of trees along Jurong Town Hall Road for various construction projects in the last 3 to 5 years. So much for 'SG Green Plan' eh?
