Fundamentally the whole EP is broken which is the main and central issue. Introducing a gender angle does not cast them in the right light.

I wonder if any self respecting female candidate would accept a nomination on the basis of a more relaxed criteria. Because after that there is still an election where they would be scrutinized by the public.
