Dr Lim Wee Kiak's remarks don't represent views of S'pore govt: Sam Tan

enior Parliamentary Secretary (Foreign Affairs) and Senior Parliamentary Secretary (Culture, Community and Youth) Sam Tan has responded to press queries regarding comments made by Chairman of the Government Parliamentary Committee for Defence and Foreign Affairs, Dr Lim Wee Kiak in a Straits Times interview on April 5.

In the article, 'Lessons from an unfortunate event', Dr Lim had said that the Malaysian authorities could have done better in managing the MH370 incident.

In a statement today, Mr Tan said: "The Singapore Government position has been clearly set out in the remarks by Minister for Foreign Affairs and Minister for Law K Shanmugam to the Foreign Correspondents Association on 28 March 2014, as well as by Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong to the editors of the Asia News Network on 9 April 2014. It is an unprecedented and very difficult situation and, as Prime Minister Lee said, the Malaysian Government has done a 'manful job'.

"Singapore deployed aircraft and ships in the search and rescue operations, and has conveyed that we stand ready to provide further support as needed.

"Dr Lim Wee Kiak's remarks do not represent the views of the Singapore Government."

Let me see ...Lim is Chairman of the Government Parliamentary Committee. If he is part of the government, how can his views not be representative to that of government? To prove the government's point, then Lim should be fired from his post.

Two, why did the foreign minister not issue the statement? Instead, a parlamentary secretary was asked to deliver the message. Not even a minister of state was assigned for the task.

It can be concluded that the views expressed was that of the PAP government.

This idiotic running dog has since issued a statement that in retrospect, what Shanmuggam said was correct and that he has changed his views.

Is this the same idiot who blurted that "NS is a privilege reserved for Singaporeans only"??? This irritating fucking CB mouth does not even know which hairy ball he is carrying with his filthy mouth but just hantum anyhow. Now his boss had to shaft it in his rear end for being such an irritant that he had suddenly "reflected on his position and changed his mind".

Dose LWK not even know basic diplomatic etiquette in times of a crisis like this? At least if he said he was just trying to take the opportunity to start a war and maybe SAF takes over JB so that we peasants could visit that damned place without a passport, that would make more sense. How low can these big-mouthed blow jobbers crawl to try to score points with the PAP? Reflected on your own position as a low-life ball licker.
