Agree. The real causes of our hardship especially for poorer citizens like us are being glossed over.

The two real-life causes are firstly, the mass influx of foreigners here resulting in them taking our jobs, mass crowding at mrts and buses and housing problem.

Secondly is the locking-up of OUR CPF money by conveniently increasing the retirement/withdrawal age before they give us back OUR money in drips and drabs. As the record shows, the retirement/withdrawal age has been raised from the original age 55 to 60 to 62 and now 65. It is of no surprise that it will be increased to 70 or 75.

It is infuriating to say the least, for us poorer citizens with these constant changing of goalposts !

What angers me about this issue is that somehow the blame will only fall unto one party. It's as if ppl don't understand the saying it takes both hands to clap. Now one hand has to do the clapping while the other hand doesn't even move at all and if the clapping isn't loud enough the blame doesn't fall on the hand that's not clapping but the hand that has been clapping. It's like this clapping hand has to clap twice as fast so that the clapping remains loud enough.

The malay side keeps on bringing up the issue again and again refusing to let it go. It's like the victim in a criminal case despite getting justice for a crime committed against him remember amy was fired and forced to flee singapore yet still refuses to move on keeps on complaining about how he is a victim again and again.
