You machiam used car dealer, got 4 cars? I still driving my 20-year old car phaw leaw. Don't have to wash anymore - let the rain do its job
Nowadays I like small compact cars - was very impressed with recent drives of the Chevy Cruze and the Mazda3. Very tight handling. Big difference from a Corolla I drove recently - that one feels like a boat in comparison..
Hehehe. Confirm I am a lousy car salesman. Bought new car without selling the old one first. (Not once but twice) :p

One of my little source of income is from car rentals. Not big money but enough to cover the maintenance and some pocket money. Problem is during low season, have to find parking space when there are no one renting. :*:

Jah, is this the same as google maps?

Yes. Same as google maps.

Maybe a good way to explain is that Google maps can be viewed in 3 ways: map, satellite and streetview. All are keyed off the same map data.
Map is your normal map, satellite superimposes a satellite picture on top of the map and streetview puts "you" on the map as if you were there seeing things on the ground level.

What google does is it sends a car with a camera that records 360 degree images driving through, say, Pattaya. The camera shoots in continuous mode. These pictures are tagged with GPS data (lat/long).
Google then stitches together photos and relates it to map using GPS data.

So when you see a streetview picture of a building, it is a photo taken at a point in time (frozen) in the past.

Not new for say, CNX. There was a guy that did the same thing for CNX a few years back way before google streeview ever displayed Thailand. Google, though, is a giant

You off to Bangers again for a break soon? What's with wet digs, imho think also best to bed-in outside Yaowarat -whilst enjoying sights, eats, smells there. Sanuk, na

Real travelers don't read maps. Wherever they go and lay their hats, they figure out the orientation and the ways. Have you ever heard of American cowboys reading maps 300 years ago on how to get from New York to Chicago to San Francisco? Whoever got lost? Have you ever heard of ancient Chinese troops reading maps to fight between seven or more warring states 3,000 years ago. A compass for directional orentiation would do. Maps were for legal purpose, i.e. drawing boundaries.

It's said that ladies don't know how to read maps and real men won't ask another person for directions but they will know how to read a map.

This has been available in sg for years same as US, oz, HK and japan i think. I just discovered it for BKK by accident. Surprisingly it's not available in johor.

Women can't read maps, they ask around for direction and end up on some men's beds. Men of course can read maps. Men invented and drew maps. That's how we mark out territories and boundaries and invented countries. To be fair and frank, maps or rather course charts are important for navigation when off the land, i.e. naval or aerial. That's because of the inadvertent loss of natural sense of orientation when chasing or trailing timezones without landmarks, just open sea or open sky all looking the same. Tell me, how many airpplane pilots or ship skippers, whether civil or military, have you seen are women?

I close both eyes can walk from Soi Cowboy to Soi Nana to Thaniya and Patpong without walking stick or seeing-eye dog. It's a good for a long stroll if it's a cool evening. Otherwise, just hail a taxi or tuk-tuk or take MRT. Don't hail a motorbike taxi if you have any hypertension heart condition.

Hehehe. WS is a strange place. Sometimes, i feel the whole place is like a dream, so unreal. In fact, the whole sin city seems so unreal. Thank goodness, wake up every morning and it's real!

This is the only place i know that so many different nationalities can co-exist without much problems.
