4 teens arrested for Hougang armed robbery

SINGAPORE: Police arrested four teens, aged between 15 and 18, for their suspected involvement in a case of armed robbery.
The group is believed to have confronted two China nationals with a knife on September 16 at 11.20pm at Blk 313 Hougang Ave 5.
The group fled the scene after one of the victims surrendered his handphone, which was valued at S$400.
The suspects were arrested at two separate locations in Punggol East and Rivervale Drive on Wednesday.
They will be charged in Court with armed robbery.
And if convicted, they can be jailed up to 14 years and caned not less than 12 strokes.
