3 lift robbers arrested

<!-- end left side bar --> <!-- story content : start --> POLICE have arrested three youths who are suspected to have robbed a 12 year-old victim inside a lift in Ang Mo Kio. The three, aged between 14 and 20, committed the crime on Wednesday. They followed the victim into the lift and robbed him of his MP3 player and wallet.
Following the arrests of two suspects, the victim's wallet was recovered at a playground in Ang Mo Kio. Preliminary investigations by the police have revealed that the trio are responsible for several offences in Ang Mo Kio and Yishun. The three will be charged in court on Friday for robbery which carries a maximum jail term of 14 years.
