2 teenagers arrested for stealing from vehicles

SINGAPORE : Police have arrested two teenagers who are believed to have stolen from vehicles in the Highgate Crescent estate, following a tip-off from a public-spirited resident.
Six cash cards, which were believed to be stolen, were found in the 17-year-old boys' possession.
Preliminary investigations revealed that the suspects may have stolen from at least three vehicles in the Highgate Crescent estate.
The suspects will be charged in court on Friday.
If convicted they can be jailed up to three years and fined.
