2 Singaporean tourists stabbed in Vietnam club

Two Singaporean men were stabbed during a fight at a bar in Ho Chi Minh city, Vietnam media reported on Thursday (March 10).
According to Vietnam Breaking News, local police arrested three men in relation to the attack.
29-year-old Duong Cong Trang, Duong Minh Luan and Nguyen Hoang Duy, both aged 19, had allegedly been involved in a fight with the Singaporean tourists at DC Club in the Cong Quynh District.
The website reported that one of the Singaporeans, Tan Chee Boon, bumped into the 29-year-old while dancing. The Vietnamese man was angered as he claimed that Tan did not apologise immediately.
He then approached Tan's table and suddenly stabbed him with a dagger. Two of his friends then attacked the group with ashtrays bottles.
Lianhe Wanbao reported that Tan suffered injuries in the abdomen and chest.
One of the Singaporeans in the group identified as Shi Zhi Xiang tried to stop the fight but ended up being stabbed in the head.
The attackers fled when security officers stepped in, and the two Singaporean men were taken to a local hospital.
According to Lianhe Wanbao, three Singaporeans involved in the incident have returned to Singapore.
