If Patrick tan was so fucking good, he would not be doing research here. He would have been invited to the biggest and bestest top unis in the US to research there with investment firms constantly taking him out to lunch to ask when his breakthrough will happen and how they can IPO his start up genome company. But unfortunately the only people buying him lunch here are PAP porlumpars. He is no fucking good.

Yes and what a sheer coincidence that he is the one and only super-talented NS man accorded this supreme privilege. 12 years! OIC his daddy is KFC! (Rhyme intended) I just couldn't believe it that Patrick Tan got his 12 years of deferment purely on his merit alone or as claimed; based on the then prevailing policy! If indeed he is so "fucking good" his head would be hunted by so many world renowned research institutes based in US Sweden or even Israel. The world would have been his oyster! Singapore would be so proud of its favourite son perhaps even a future Nobel Laureate. Methinks he can run as a PAP candidate with ministerial potential in the next election.. Politics is in his blood!

This one is worth taking a look from MIT is Chen Jiahao...who had a spat with Philip Yeo.( see Philip Yeo vs Chen jiahao"s blog)

He got his Phd . No thanks to Philip. We may lose this Singaporean talent as he is unhappy with the many road blocks they raised when he is trying hard to get a good education.

Poor guy..his father , a taxi driver is no match for Tony Tan and cannot get his exemption, even for a year.

If he is so good, why hasn't his father advance his name for consideration? He is afraid the Noble committee would be rolling on the ground laughing?
