$100K new 2- room HDB flat at $40 k ! All Oppo parties must catch up !

We keep reminding that the cost of building HDB flats is a very serious question that all Sinkaporeans should get an answer from HDB !
If sinkaporeans just pay the public HDB flat price without knowing the truth, they will not have enough to retire, this is reality !
No one can guarantee fairy –tale economy and political HDB price will go on for life !

If you look at the 1k- a- month- salary- can- buy -2- room- flat saga, you will realise that after factoring the AHG and SHC (subsidized words), $100k flat can sell at $40k ------60% drop of price !

You people see the point ? The cost of building this 2 room flat should be lower than $40k right !

We hope Workers Party take the lead, ask Ah Khaw to break down the cost of building HDB flats for 3 room and 4 room !

If Oppo parties want to win votes, sharing this concern of building cost with the voters is a good start !
You people don’t need to argue about high HDB price , just ask the cost ! it will not offend anyone !

Cash is king, concrete and tiles are just dead things, the world changes and too the economy !
20 years later would be a different story !

The younger Sinkaporeans will appreciate !

Given the supposed 100 year lifespan of concrete buildings (unless Spore cuts corners here), a 60 year loan with 3 percent interest does the job well. It can allow for intergenerational transfer of wealth if desired. No need to subsidize. Also the claims of the price being overpriced is also disturbing

Good to know the cost of Building HDB flats because it is the public money that pay the construction !

All Singaporeans will use their life savings to pay up HDB flats not to mention the interest rate !
People would probably pay much more when the mortgage is completed !

It is also true that if Oppo MPs at Parliament do not ask this question will be doing disservice to all singaporeans !


Other oppo parties should also campaign this concern with the voters on the ground because knowing the truth is better to live in the dark !
If 80% are rich to have two houses, High HDB flat price is a blessing but this fairy-tale is just a fairy-tale---a feel -good gossip when aunties and uncles meet to boost !

Let you guys on a secret. Singapore housing is built like crap for the price paid. Most of it goes to the fake inflated value of land. The price of material you pay for and the no workmanship is a rip off to unscrupulous contractors who go KTV to bang MM at your expense literally.
