As famous Taiwanese host Chang Fei and singer Fei Yu-ching are, there are still people who aren’t aware that the brothers have an older sister, Jenny Fei, who bowed out of showbiz over 30 years ago. She was then ordained as a Buddhist monk and became known as Venerable Heng Shu, although she recently started dabbling in the diamond trade as a means to earn money.
Earlier this week, Taiwanese media went to town with shocking reports that the 70-year-old owes over 20 loansharks a total of NT$30mil (S$1.4 mil). On March 16, Heng Shu updated her Facebook to say, “I’m on the way to the United States to meet the boss of my Israeli diamond dealer, who has expressed his interest to support me to become the biggest diamond dealer in Asia. [With his help], I will soon get over the current hardships.”

Her post has been criticised by netizens who argue that a nun should not be involved in worldly affairs, and what's even more surprising is that she is dealing with luxury goods.
Even her brothers seem to have had enough of her antics. Chang Fei, 68, told Taiwanese news outlet Apple Daily that he would no longer be paying off his sister's debts, and that he and Yu-ching will cut off all ties with her should she continue with her current behaviour.
“Over the past 40 years, Yu-ching and I have paid off more than NT$200mil (S$9.5mil) of her debts. I can no longer let her cross the line,” he declared. “We paid off NT$16mil (S$761,700) for her last February. We just found out that she owes people NT$30mil (S$1.4mil) now. How could she do that in a single year? Yu-ching and I don’t own gold mines and nobody is able to help her.”
When asked to explain how she has managed to spend this much money in 13 months, Chang Fei explained, “She’s a kind-hearted person. She doesn’t gamble but she is too generous. When she goes overseas with her believers, she pays for everything. Just the accommodation and food alone cost NT$3mil (S$143,000). Usually, it’s the believers who pay for the monk’s expenses, but she’s doing the opposite.”
Chang Fei mused that her current business plan was also likely to have required a great deal of money, as she would have to fork out a lot of cash in order to secure the diamonds that she hopes to sell.
However, he was quick to criticise her. “If she wants to continue dabbling in the diamond business, she should also let go of her status as a nun,” he shared. “She needs to settle this on her own. We’ve had enough and we absolutely refuse to help her pay off her debts (…) We used to do so because we didn’t want our parents to worry about her. Now that they’re no longer around, we also need to think about our own retirement. If push comes to shove, I’ll cut off all ties with her. I’ve done my best for her.”

Taiwanese singer Stella Chang has separated from her husband of 15 years, citing irreconcilable differences.
The news broke yesterday (June 22) after the ex-couple released a statement through their lawyers about their divorce.
The statement read: "To those who are concerned about us, we regret to inform you about this news. We were unable to overcome our differences and decided to get a divorce. We've tried very hard, but we couldn't resolve it, and filed for divorce last year. We decided to finalise it this year during the children's summer vacation.
"Though we won't be husband and wife in the future, we will still be the parents of our children. The children will not lose the love from either of us because of our divorce."
They added: "We ask that the public not speculate on the reason of our divorce as it'll hurt the children. We also ask that they not disturb our family and friends. This may not be good news, but as far as we're concerned, it's the best decision."
Stella, 53, made her debut in 1985 and was a dominant player in the music industry in the 90s, releasing more than 30 albums and winning Best Female Vocalist at the Golden Melody Award twice — once in 1994, and again in 1997.
She then married banker Sung Hsueh-jen in 2005, settled down in Hong Kong, and has two sons.
Stella mostly stayed out of showbiz thereafter, and recently, returned to Singapore in 2016 for her first concert on our sunny shores in 20 years.

Puan Sri Chelsia Chan, also known as Chan Chau Ha is Hong Kong based actress and singer-songwriter. Chan joined the music industry after winning the first prize at an amateur creative singing contest in 1975 in Hong Kong with the English song "Dark Side of Your Mind", which she composed with lyrics provided by her then-manager Pato Leung. Later, this became one of her best remembered songs. In 1976, at the age of 19, she won the leading actress award at Taiwan's Golden Horse Film Festival for the movie "Qiu Xia" (Chelsia My Love) which incidentally is also her own birth name. She is so far the youngest winner with the shortest screen life (seven years) in the Festival's history. Chan used to sing along with the Hong Kong group, The Wynners.

（香港9日讯）陈秋霞日前接受郑丹瑞主持的《健康·旦》视像访问，畅谈她在马来西亚的抗疫生活。说到大马政府规定每个家庭只许“一家之主”出门购物，陈秋霞就担当此重任，外出买食材，更为家人设计餐单，并且早午晚清洁家居三次，对家人照顾有加！
陈秋霞除了对家人呵护备至，对员工亦相当体贴，她会亲自编排司机及保镖的轮班时间，希望他们尽量减少上班。陈秋霞指留家抗疫一点也不闷，多了时间可以做一直未有时间实行的事情，她会每天写书法，又重拾琴谱，生活充实。
80年代嫁作大马媳妇的陈秋霞指，一开始大马民众对疫情的戒心不大，之前出席慈善活动，跟粉丝近距离自拍，花了40分钟才能上车离开，现时回想仍然心有余悸。面对这次疫情，她表示：“今天不知明天事，最重要照顾好自己的心情，正面面对。”
而原来自3年前患癌起，陈秋霞便有戴口罩的习惯。提到3年前患上乳癌的经历，接受化疗后长黑斑、头发脱落，但她乐观面对，痊瘉后3个月更公开举办了座谈会，在众人面前脱下她的假发，放下明星的包袱，相当勇敢。

孙情，本名孙立诚，1945年生，是生长在韩国的山东人，曾演唱韩国电影《泪的小花》主题曲。
一九六八年由韩国来台念书，当时韩国电影《泪的小花》在台上映，电影公司知道他会唱歌，特别邀请他演唱主题曲。另外，在一个偶然机会下，孙情认识了任职中华广播电台播音员的周秋华，对方给了他不少帮助和鼓励，激起了他朝歌唱方面发展的信心。
说起孙情会唱歌，与韩国来台发展的刘家昌、姜育恒的情况多少有点类似：他们都是从小就对音乐有兴趣，会作曲，来台后很自然地加入流行音乐的行列。以孙情来说，他在小时候就在韩国文化放送电视台演过电视剧，对音乐也下过一番功夫，来台湾原本没有期望在歌坛发展，一切只能说是命运安排。
孙情于一九七一年加盟台声唱片，第一张唱片是《谁抢走了我的爱人》，接着是《浪子泪》，两张唱片市场反应都不错，到第三张《又是细雨》更是大卖，名气直线上升，很快就变成歌坛的一线歌手。《又是细雨》这张唱片中，孙情还谱了两首新歌，分别是“何去何从”与“失落”。“何去何从”由周秋华填词，开头就说“一切，一切都已成空，前程远景消失无踪，如今我该何去何从？”
这虽是一首歌词，但多年后，竟成了孙情的心声。一九七五年，孙情不满台声唱片不注重宣传，削弱了他的实力，为了远景，他跳槽到丽歌唱片。当时丽歌允诺孙情三年灌九张唱片，酬劳也跟着提高。可惜丽歌的风水似乎不利孙情，三年之中他只出了六张唱片，但没有一张掀起高潮，他在台声灌的最后一张唱片《永恒的回忆》，却持续热卖，不断再版，声势比他在丽歌的任何一张唱片都叫座。这段时期，孙情郁郁寡欢，唱起“何去何从”、“失落”，格外痛苦。三年合约期满，孙情挥别了丽歌，重回台声。
除了唱歌“痛苦”外，孙情对电视综艺节目也很痛心，他经常批评台湾的综艺节目，创造不出什么新颖的东西，节目制作人根本没有新意，又不用功，只会抄袭日本、韩国的节目，让为数众多的日本观光客耻笑，偏偏这些制作人还走路有风，神气的很。也因为如此，后期的孙情不喜欢上电视，生活圈子逐渐变小，到外地作秀一结束就回到饭店，把自己关在屋里。
也因为心情不爽，孙情极易与人冲突，一九七九年，孙情在台中南夜歌厅因为口无遮拦，与执勤的警察发生冲突，接着，一九八○年他又与今日戏院的副主任，因为补票问题发生纠纷，继而互殴。孙情当时表示，当个艺人实在是件很痛苦的事，大家都看着你。经过这些事件后，他决心改掉易怒的脾气，好好约束自己。
一九八五年，孙情退出歌坛，他坦承，在歌坛十余年，却“从来没有喜欢过这个行业”。初期，孙情选择美国洛杉矶做为远离过去生活的休息处，但是，繁华富裕的洛杉矶，夜夜笙歌的频繁交际，跟台北几乎没有两样。之后，他经友人介绍搬到夏威夷，而且开了一家台湾凤梨酥专卖店，店名叫“孙先生的店”，颇受消费者欢迎，特别是到夏威夷观光的日本人，一定会光顾孙情的店。
现在的孙情完全不碰唱歌，日子过的极为惬意，自然不会再有“痛苦”。这些年不断有人游说他复出，孙情从未点头，他认为，歌唱、演戏是他年轻时玩的东西，玩过之后，就要言归正传。他对服装代理很有兴趣，目前在美加、大陆都有设点；太太仍在电台工作，两个子女都在国外，学有专精，他很满意现在的生活，那段歌唱的日子，已经离开好远好远了。

1995年 在马来西亚全年度的唱片销售量排行榜，排行全马第六名，并连续获颁“全年度销量大奖”；
1996年 出版个人制作的《钱鼠来送钱》专辑，同时也得到“白金唱片奖”，同年4月到山东参加“风筝节”演出；
1997年 出版VCD、LD、CD、卡带同时上市的《十二生肖通发财》；
998年 9月第一次中国大陆“哈尔滨冰球场”正式演唱，同月并于东京、美国演唱；除了 演唱外，个人创作才华也备受肯定，创作歌曲已达20余首；
1999年 1月4日出版《兔年跑第一》专辑，这已是第75张专辑唱片。

湯蘭花 (Yulunana Tanivu，音譯：尤露娜娜·丹妮芙，1951年－）為成名於1970年的著名女歌手、女演員；台灣原住民鄒族，出生於嘉義縣阿里山鄉來吉村。1980年代早期，活躍於東南亞及香港。1982年，回到台灣發展。
其叔父湯守仁，為阿里山鄒族領袖之一。1952年受國民政府指控為匪諜，逮捕後槍決。湯蘭花十七歲初上台北，參加台視第二屆歌唱比賽並榮獲冠軍。十八歲，以電影《負心的人》一炮而紅，由所擔綱演出之電影共計三十五部，灌錄電影主題曲及唱片十餘張，於二十五歲與應家東結婚並退出影壇。
