An MNC exist in Sinkland to invest in your place to make money. The gov gains with taxes and product creation, expertise gained, attraction to more investment in your country.

An MNC is NOT a social service center where they should care about the citizens of the country they are investing. The partnership they have with any gov exist on a mutual win -win deal , not neccessary a win for their locals in that country.

You will be applauded at the treatment other MNC would treat their local workers like in China.

Precisely MNCs are for profit and not social enterprise, that's why we need a govt that cares for citizens and ensure the rights of citizens are protected. Rights to jobs, schooling, housing, medical etc.

The conditions of employment is a separate matter. First we need to get the jobs for local then we can talk about conditions of work. Now Singapore has regressed to basic needs of no jobs for locals, at least those in China that you cited are protesting on conditions of jobs, not of having no jobs.

Do you notice even the neighbour country has moved up on the spectrum of needs with higher level of protest of corruption. Did you hear them complaining of no jobs due to jobs going to foreigners? Singaporeans are also complaining of other basic needs like transport break down.

CECA proves this indeed. What about the impending TPPA? I read about Msia govt holding more than 100 engagements with various stakeholders in Msia to discuss this, like academic, industry, NGO, opposition MPs to even individuals. Did PAP do this kind of engagements with various parties in Singapore regarding TPPA?

it's not about poor or lousy negotiations. it's about opening doors and gateways for a woman who's addicted to shopping big for a bargain with someone else's billions in cash but ends up getting fleeced. a woman hooked on big time shopping with billions in cash which is not her own money plus so called "discount" coupons to ghetto malls is a cringy combination waiting to combust. i have always advocated staying away from ghetto-mentality cuntries such as india and china. it's free advice, and sovereign wealth entities could have easily followed my recommendations and stayed away from pain down the road. :rolleyes:

Yes their bumiputra policies discriminate citizens that are non-bumis. This is not to be confused with the matter here of protecting the citizens' rights. You read the article to know the difference.
