they are simple--taking on enemies will lesser technology and still screw them up. Haha.

You are an idiot. SEALs, US Army SOF, Rangers, etc, go into hostile territory thousands of miles away with unfamiliar and sometimes treacherous terrain. The local insurgents/terrorists are much more familiar with the terrain, and they are sometimes well armed. They also get teenagers to shoot AK47s and use them as fodder. The kid who shot the RPG that took out a helicopter full of Rangers during Operation Redwing was not even a teenager yet.

The special ops forces don't just have shoot and kill mission. They must often work with locals and root out terror cells and establish some rudimentary security. That's the job of the green berets, who must be conversant in foreign languages and be well-trained in diplomacy and counter-insurgency. The SEALs also sometimes do unconventional warfare but their main aim is short and quick missions where you capture and hold an installation, or raid a compound, or gather critical intelligence. SEAL Snipers also play critical role in taking out key insurgents or backing up a conventional unit in the process of entering a certain territory. DEVGRU does hostage rescue and counter-terrorism. That was the unit that took out OBL, and no matter whether you believe the US govt's official account of events, it was NO EASY DAY. And I haven't gotten into complicated waterborne ops where your target is a moving ship. None of these missions are easy or you won't even need special forces to carry them out.

The special ops forces must also sometimes place themselves at a disadvantage in terms of threat exposure in order to achieve the broader mission objective of gaining trust, restoring calm and allowing the formation of a stable local government.

If you think these missions are simply about bringing high tech weapons to kill those with low tech gear, you're obviously clueless. I'm guessing the extent of your knowledge what was portrayed in Demi Moore's GI Jane.

And you yourself are an idiot. If it was that hard for the US, then they should have admitted defeat in Afghanistan long ago.

Its pointless writing long essay to you. Give you a tidbit. The green berets got the Afghan locals to fight 3/4 of the war for them. Another tidbit: Afghan was not the place where George Bush Jr seriously miscalculated and got entangled in a quagmire. I'll let you figure out where that place was. You may use Google.

give examples where they do more missions. US SEALS were founded after many special forces including British.

Wrong. SEALs originated from the Underwater Demolition Teams (UDTs) of world war 2. The modern SEAL units were established after the Korean War, founded to expand the capability of the UDTs

Aiyah!

You talking to steffychunnycuntchowcheebyelanchowhaiduidouhoifar where the cucumber she used to stroke herself got more brains then her perineum.

Go press her button. Tell her Todd was MURDERED and she will regurgitate like a monkey how he suicided.
