woof is correct. From what i see it is really a dog eat dog world there....lots of undercutting and dirty play not only by the agents but by the sellers and buyers too.But of course there's $$$$ to be made if you have good persuasive powers.

a friend told me, he sell 1 bungalow, the earned commission can let him rest for a whole year. really so good?

yes....depending on the commission you worked out with ur company and the seller.

If u sell a bungalow for 10 million and get 1% ....wah ..chiak buay leow man

my brother tried for a few months ...but in a bad market ...didnt even get a transaction after spending lots of time running around and $$ on adverts so he gave up.

Career change? Many graduates and ex-military personnel end up becoming property agents because they cannot get relevant employment in other industries. For many, it is not a choice. People need to eat and they will often take whatever jobs that come along. You don't need any experience or education qualifications to sell property. They take in nearly anyone.

When it comes to rights, businesses take precedence over customers. Many property agents are experts at bending/breaking the rules without getting caught and consumers may not even suspect a thing.

I have never like property agents. Please do not consider that as a career. But for short term quick bucks, yes it is worth a try.
