to called his 2006 Aljunied teammate, Encik Rahizan "3rd rate" is in extremely bad taste...he not only do it here but also went to edmw to call MK team 3rd rate....Encik Rahizan may notch have sibei takgong academic qualification or been bery sucessful electorally so far....but at the very least he is a veteran who have been involved in opposition politics since 1984 and lasted for more than 25yrs so far, we should at least respect him for that.

I also guessed Rahizan must have mentor the then nubile Meng Seng when he 1st join WP....

guess how Goh Meng Seng will insult NSP after the next election???

GMS is too clever by half. Thinks too highly of himself. A little substance he sure has but won't bring him to parliament. He needs to work harder and smarter instead of dishing advice here, there and everywhere. Needs to look into the mirror. Given the size of his ego, he finds it almost impossible to give credit to others who made it to parliament on their first attempt. Sour grapes he sure is. He may think he is betterer than Pritam though most would conclude Pritam is miles ahead of GMS - intelligence, integrity, substance etc.

I have already revealed in this forum the duplicity of Goh Meng Seng. Not to mention his cliquish nature. If I remember correctly, I was the first to state very confidently that even members of WP who contested together with Goh Meng Seng in Aljunied in 2006 are not in his inner circle facebook page. Which basically goes to show that GMS like to treat people like tools which are to be discarded when no longer needed.

In the ISA thread, GMS likes to strut around and say he knows the information even though he is on the outside. What kind of purpose does it serve except for his own ego-stroking. And now he is so damn jealous of Aljunied team. He regrets leaving WP because in his fetid imagination he imagined that if he had stayed on LTK might field him in Aljunied again and he would now be MP and not some half forgotten slimeball rotting away in HK

For all of Ramseth's faults (and he has many of them), he knows where to draw the line. I have deliberately jabbed Ramseth in a very provocative and even defamatory manner, but he always sue for peace and not escalate it. For that I respect him. But Goh Meng Seng is a nutjob who allow his ego to cloud is judgment and in so doing he has destroy many valuable friendships over the years. GMS should know best. since Low already put Rahizan in MK....... so I can confidently say that low will not field GMS in Aljunied..... very likely in MK replace Freida or Soma ... does that make him a third rate candidate...??? hmmm

I think Low must also treat people like tools, discard them when they are no longer because the future of SIngapore is @ stake....

Pritam is a top tier candidate, be it terms of integrity or qualitfication.... he is bit raw, he shouldnt comment on coalition govt since it will not happen in the context of SIngapore... GMS is rite dat PS should shut his mouth ...

but GMS should also shut his mouth since we now know his agenda for badmouthing PS was not goot intention but to kwestion Pritam's motive and wisdom ...

His main issue is mixing loyalty, personalities, emotions and then gets his knickers in a twist. To his credit he does have strong directional principles in politics but they get drowned when he drags his loyalty, personality etc into the mix. TKL is quite telling. TKL could do no wrong and worse still, he still calls him independent. And he will argue till the cows come home. He certainly has leadership and organisational capacity and good political ground knowledge. It's the application that is questionable.

Here is a simple equation. GMS sets up a team. Perspective provide below line advice and becomes a sounding board for strategy and tactics. Ramseth handles people relationship (with legal binding contracts not to reveal anything) and we certainly got a better lot than NSP. Obviously you need more than this and you will see quality candidate streaming in. In the meantime, to avoid factional and special interest groups with their respective agendas barging in, we need capable hands to stroke the likes of Alex Au to remain within the SDP camp.
