Thank Lee Hsien Loong for promising Arroyo Aiyo Aiyo to employ more Pinoys at RWS MBS .

I wonder why Sg should help them with employment issues..

Even if they are part of ASEAN, why will we help with their incompetence? It will only make them more incompetent?

Is it a Sinkie agenda to keep all ASEAN countries weak? So our banks can keep managing their $$

These people are brainless, insensitive and sick. I think their culture is sick.

Thanks to their own stupidity that their moronness is exposed in the internet.

Time to stop employing these asses and deport them back to Pinoland.

It is ironical, in the 1988 movie FATAL VACATION , it was the tourists themselves who got themselves freed from the Pinoy terrorists and hostage takers.

In the 1988 movie, the Pinoy military came in last to finish the terrorists in the movie, I think they were better shots then, although shooting in the same direction they did not kill any of the surviving tourists.
Remember a Hong Kong film about a group of tourists being killed by Pinoys many years ago? This time is real and not movie.

It's so sickening to see policemen posing for photographs with objects from the tragic events.

What are they thinking, a job well done?

A sick culture that seems to be all embracing, with zero thoughts to those who perish?
The photographs of the police posing for pictures in front of the bus are appalling.
Even if there were no casaulties, it would be considered unprofessional to pose for pictures in front of a bus whereby hostages wee held at gun point.
Given the fact that there were casualties, the Phillippines government has a lot of explaining, apologising and grovelling to do.

Plane carrying 8 bodies arrives in HK

Plane carrying 8 bodies arrives in HK

Updated: 2010-08-25 20:50

HONG KONG - A chartered plane, carrying tourist group members, victims' relatives and the bodies of the eight victims in the hostage crisis in Philippine capital Manila, arrived at the Hong Kong International Airport on Wednesday evening after an around 90-minute flight.

Also on board the chartered flight were 19 family members of the eight dead and those injured tourists. Another eight Hong Kong tourists who were caught in Monday's abduction tragedy also returned on the same flight. The flight took off around 6:19 pm local time from Manila after a brief farewell ceremony.

Chief Secretary for Administration of the Hong Kong government Henry Tang, President of Hong Kong's Legislative Council Jasper Tsang, Governor of the Non-official Members of Hong Kong's Executive Council Leung Chun-ying, and deputy director of the Liaison Office of the Central People's Government in Hong Kong Li Gang stepped onto the plane to receive them home.

The hostage crisis in Manila, involving a 21-member Hong Kong tour group, ended on Monday night with eight hostages killed and several others injured, one of whom in critical condition.

The Philippine police screwed up big time. Hijacker's demands was simple (reinstate him into the police force, he did not even ask for much $$$), if they had complied and not roughed up his brother in front of him, the situation will not have deteriorated.

Never, ever, concede to hijacker's demand, however affordable.

First, hijacking is wrong and they have no rights to any demand.

Then, conceding to their demand will encourage even more hijack attempts.

In this case, reinstate this bonker as a senior police officer? That's worse fate for all Pinoys.

The Philippinos did the right thing. Better to let the hostages die than to risk their lives. Taking photos to commerate their right decision is warranted.

Of course if the hostages were white, they would instead be scrambling to get the hostage taker immediately. Live or die, they will surely be immortalised as heroes.

The ones who can pose and smile in front of that hijacked bus are fuckin insensitive and that just shows how nonchalent their attitudes are towards these incidents. Simply disrespect for the grieved and to the dead.

The president Mr Aquino, when you see him giving interview right after the incident, you can see him smirking as though nothing has happened. The least you would expect him is to be solemn and regretful over what happened.

When you see Police trying to charge in the bus without any plan or strategy, you know there are hostages who are going to die because of their rashness.

The catalyst is not how cruel this hijacker is but how ineffective the leading man all the way down to the policemen who actually showed us what the real Phillipines is all about

As much as conceding the demands of hijackers are wrong, it might have saved the eight Hong Konger lives. After all, police can pretend to concede to his demands and arrest him once he stepped out of the bus. I am not exactly sure about how the police functions in this situation, so pardon my naivety.

I am not exactly sure why the police bungled up the storming, but I can guess an alternate reason instead of incompetency, that is, they were unwilling to shoot their former colleague. Suspicious why that guy threw the light stick, as though warning the hijacker of their presence.
