Added bonus is you don't have uncles and aunties cursing you.
Have lah, aunties and uncles cursing is everywhere in the casinos, wherever you go, matter of a lot or little:p. Probably they curse in cantonese you don't understand.

For Baccarat, Banker pays 95%. The pace of the game is slow as 1 of the players gets to touch the cards.
For Mini Baccarat or non comission Baccarat, Banker pays 100%. However if you win with a Banker B6, you get only 50%. No player gets to touch the cards so the game proceeds at a very fast pace (up to 200 hands an hour in Vegas).
If you looking at odds, the best play is different for the 2 types of games.
For Baccarat, the best play is BANKER which has a house edge of 1.08%
For non comission Bacarat, the best play is PLAYER which has a house edge of 1.20%.
I think I got mention before that if you are playing with nn chips, non comission Baccarat offers the best odds/variance ratio if you are comp hustling.

On Genting Silver card, it is very easy to get. Just show a Singapore Platinum credit card and they will give you one. The only reason to get 1 are the nice drinks in the International Room (hot chocolate and coffee).
If you are looking to togo, best place to drink are the bars in the casino. Don't go for beer. Go for VSOP or other hard liquor which is very cheap.
If you want to make friends with some of the pretty dealers, Wed or Thur should be staff night at the disco. Be friendly, buy a couple of round of drinks for your target and her friends and then go look for her when she goes on duty.
Firstly, I am very regular at Genting Malaysia before the 2 casinos were set up in Singapore. The crowd you see at RWS, will be more at Genting or roughly there. This is the common areas. The international rooms for silvercard members and above also quite crowded at times.
MBS tables has avg of 2-3 players per table with not much crowding. At RWS or Genting, you get at least 7-8 more standing behind either looking over your shoulders or placing chips above your bets or behind your bets. The croupier will also spend more time doing payouts respectively.
Genting is good if you want to go there shopping, watch movies, go theme park and then play a bit of games. The better food are mostly served in the more expensive restaurants. The rest are just average and comparable to singapore but the food there is more expensive than singapore. Unless talking about using points to redeem food then basically food is free but you need lots of points
Mini Baccarat means you don't touch the cards at all. You just need to place your bet on banker player tie and the dealer do the rest for you. Speed of the game is fast but not like what the articles mentioned before at 250 hands per hour.
I ever play 1 to 1 with a croupier in the wee hours of the morning and this croupier is very fast with his hands. 1 shoe of 8 decks to finish will take approx 40mins (fast) to 60mins(avg) avg about 60+hands depending where they cut the cards. Plus changing new shoe and decks, can hit up to 100 hands per hour but that is considered super fast and provided that no one else is playing except you. Avg would be 60 hands per hour.
Thank bro... Mini Baccarat should be the game for me. Fast pace is good no waste time is squeezing cards
Wow .. good leh. The pretty lady dealers can make friends with them by buying a couple of drinks. That nice
I do have a Singapore Platinum credit card.
Is the Silver Card in Genting equal to a Gold Card or Platinum Card in MBS ?
Oh I see, Mini Baccarat is Non-Commission Baccarat (Face-Up) that I used to play in RWS tables or electronic machine beside the stage. For BANKER win on 6 points, there is a SUPER SIXES that pay 15 to 1.
I am still newbie in casino gaming guess a lot learn
Sg don't have an equivalent yet. Genting Silver card is meant for affluent mass market.
For Banker bet, the house edge in Non-Comission Baccarat is 1.40%. They try to sweeten it by hanging all sorts of whistles and bells.
If you are going to play Non-Comission Baccarat, then RM 5K nn confirm not enough. At the fast pace at which the game proceeds, you can finish your RM5K nn in close to 1 hour if you bet just RM 100 per hand continuously. If you are looking to bet only PLAYER to maximise your odds, then it will take you at most 2 hrs to deplete all the nn chips.
IMHO, the optimium package to get is RM 10k nn which you have to call and neg. This is because you can neg to get the Highlands room which is a lot nicer than the room you get from the Star World Package. They will usually give it to you during the low season.
On food, you don't have to use Genting Points to get food. You can buy the RM 100 nn package (limit to 1 per day) which gives you a RM10 food voucher. The trick here is there you can actually do it twice as you can buy a package from BOTH Genting AND Starworld.
After you get the coupons, study the restaurants carefully. DON"T EAT INSIDE the casino as the food sucks. You can use the coupons at participating restaurants outside and top up the balance.
Dear All, is it true that RWS silver card can be upgraded to MBS Gold immediately ??

I just ordered one book on Baccarat with Books Kinokuniya cost me $28.
There is also textbooks on graduate level like Casino Financial Control ($82) & Casino Operational Management ($160) that I am quite interested to read
The point system in Genting and other casinos is based on careful time motion studies which measure the number of hands played at the table. To comp hustle the system, all you have to do is play fewer than the expected number of hands you are expected to play.
The best game to comp hustle is non comission B6 baccarat. As mentioned before, the game is very fast paced. The number of of points they credit you is therefore relatively high. Another plus point is that you play in a group. This makes it easy to hide what you are doing. At the blackjack or pontoon table, it is very obvious if you deposit your card and do not bet.
Because of the ease with which the system can be beaten, dealers and pit bosses are always on the look out for people who abuse the system. Hence if you deposit your card at the table and don't play a single hand for an entire hour, you will get a warning. Ditto if you time your bets using your watch so that you make 1 bet every 10 minutes.
What you therefore need is a betting system which slows down your rate of play. A simple system I use very often is to bet player ONCE after there have been 2 rounds when banker has won i.e. BB-> P.
If you adopt this system, you will play an average of 1 hand for every 5 hands dealt. If you choose a crowded table where there are many people playing, this slows down your rate of play to a crawl.
If the pit boss notices you, he will probably spend some time to analyse your pattern of play. As it is a simple pattern, he should be able to decipher it very quickly. While he might not be happy, he won't bother to confront you as many baccarat players use similalr systems to bet.
Can you confirm this plse and provide details on how to get it? According to our resident high roller bro silverwolf, RWS and MBS got no nn chip system.
Bottomline is as long as don't cheat, and you win, the casinos do not bother about you.
You really seemed to enjoy earning comps. :o
I ever tried comparing numerous occasions on playing blackjack and baccarat in international room. Playing on the min300RM tables. The comp points for blackjack is more than baccarat.
And for 2 different sessions on blackjack, on a day when you are winning and the more you win, the comps you earn is much more on the day you are losing. They give you more comp points when you are winning to want you to redeem the points to go back again.
