The debut of Saudi Arabia's initial male humanoid robot 'Muhammad' at the second DeepFast event in Riyadh has stirred up a debate on social media.
Allegations arose that during the unveiling, the robot inappropriately made physical contact with a female news reporter.
A brief video clip capturing the incident, lasting 7 seconds, has gone viral.
In the footage, the reporter Rawya Kassem is discussing the robot when it appears to extend its hand towards her back, potentially touching her buttocks.
Kassem had to raise her hand to deter the robot's action momentarily.
