Is the Perfect Storm Over for Markets?

Durably stabilizing today’s markets is important, especially for a system that has already assumed too much financial risk. It requires a policy handoff instigated by more responsible behavior on the part of politicians on both sides of the Atlantic – one that undertakes the much-needed transition from over-reliance on central banks to a more comprehensive policy approach that deals with the economy’s trifecta of structural, demand, and debt impediments (and does so in the context of greater global policy coordination).
Should this handoff occur, its beneficial impact in terms of delivering inclusive growth and genuine global stability would be turbocharged by the productive deployment of cash sitting on companies’ balance sheets, and by exciting technological innovations that began as firm/sector specific but are now having economy-wide effects. If the handoff fails, the financial volatility experienced earlier this year will not only return; it could also turn out to have been a prologue for a notable risk of recession, greater inequality, and enduring financial instability.

Effect of qe should be wearing off soon like a recycled condom unable to contain negative news. The market is long ovrrflush with unwanted cash but it fails to trickle down for simple fact the corrupted bank industry r squeezing every cent of it. The lower echelons r unable to borrow n borrowers r unable to repay. The final collapse will be when bank loans starts to default by large numbers which will lead to what german banks r now in. A matter of weeks ir not months.

economics only play a minor part, i am quite optimistic about the global market. i always picture that market is for the long haul, big sharks won't want to see investors get burnt and stay away, they want you to continue playing the market so that they can rip you off bit by bit. i have been placing big bets since i noticed oil has reached bottom, and that was 2 weeks ago, and if you guys dun hear from me in sammyboy, i have gone home.:o:biggrin:

krafty is so much more optimistic than those guys over at the Bank for International Settlements.

Uneasy calm gives way to turbulence

The shit has yet to hit the fan.

one must have faith in the central banks, they will keep on accommodating the markets. if the investors die, they will lose their jobs. print more money is the best tool so far. i ever mentioned before normally financial crisis occurred suddenly and take pple by surprise. this time, when everybody is talking about global economy slowing down, you can be sure the elites at the helm of IMF and central banks are already taking precaution and preventing this from happening. market is all human psychology as in politics and economics only play a minor part.

Top guns like jim pickards, jim rogers, marc faber, andy xie all share the same sentiments. Central banks hv lost the plot. The evolving market will b out of control n hands of central banks. What happen next is austerity measures similar to greece after bank runs. The confidence that you lend them faux money for interest rates which they cant afford to pay due to increased default. N surge of large tranche withdrawal will result in this. Watch japan n latin america.

china bad debts can be reverted, in the long run. just like temasek also say investing for long term.
i think you read too much western media, dun get influenced by them. china is striving for growth in economy. they will only show their military strength if provoked. i am 100% sure that they won't start a war.

I am afraid central banks have exhausted all their weapons in their Arsenal to stimulate the economy . But the economic fundamentals remain unaddressed. The countries are not willing to go through the reforms and restructuring needed to lift the economy.

LOL so you are telling us you are a big shark and have made huge bets? When oil prices crash again dont come here and tell us you have long closed your position and have become a shortist, making huge bets and winnings on falling prices.

wars are wage so that country can get ever larger resources they need. Wars need resources. That means China will consume all the over production by waging a war with their neighbour There will be no bad debt, over production will be solve.

As for war at South China Sea, it time to wage war. Solve all the economic woes.
