Stress is a main cause of stroke. If only we know how to relax (ie. have proper rest) instead of over-exerting ourselves in exercise and work.
I believe that there is a chemical that is triggered in the brain due physical over-exertion, undue duress and lack of rest that constricts the flow of blood to the brain, causing a loss of oxygen and thus getting a stroke.

Yes you are right. Recently my sibling's friend has a massive stroke at age 55. Totally paralysed except eyelid movement and has to cut a hole at the throat for feeding through tube. The family has to learn how to operate the feeding.

I think the only way not to have probability of stroke is to lie on bed as experimental object in a cardiac ward and let doctor monitor every single arteries in your body , this could take 24X7X (the number of years you are living) Who want this in their life ?

I had a wake up call when I had myheart attack. Since then I've set a budget each month for health supplements & organic produce for juicing. To clean up the blood system I'm taking enzymes like Nattokinase & Serrapeptase.

The longest I know lasted for 30 years. The others average 10 years. It is like a digestion machine. Milk is poured in and shit comes out after 24 hrs. Poor maid pour the milk and clear the shit later. Bed sore and all kinds of discomfort. But thanks to medical science, the digestive machine continues to function. It is a torture for everybody.

It is a painful way to go indeed. Heard it is just one time stroke and become like that. No chance of recovery at all unlike in TV shows where people after stroke can go therapy for recovery.

FRankly speaking, I don't like anyone from ST Engineering, especially the CEO. THis is the worse organization when it comes to sucking taxpayer money and wasting it. This company sucks up $ billions of our money for their R & D and money losing products and ventures. This fucking CEO that got the stroke is paid a base salary of USD$3.5 million per year and that does not include any bonus or stock options he might have. This company would have been bankrupt decades ago if not a GLC. Its products are all shit and very little exported (other then the Bronco). Since the SAF has to purchase from them, you can be sure the SAF is paying 25% more then any other country for basics like ammunition and what not.
The Bionix is a POS that can't be sold elsewhere, and same goes for the Terrex. The few exceptions in winning orders has turned out to obtained due to corruption like the Pegasus Howitzer sale to India. Frankly, the singapore taxpayer would have been saved billion of $ if it procured equipment at the market, or entered license manufacture for the equipment. For example, why spend $ millions developing the bullpup assault rifle SAR-21 when an established bullpup the Asutrian STeyr was already under license manufacture in Malaysia, Australia, as well as from the parent company. There is no reason why we cannot license manufacture the Steyr if they wanted a bullpup. Nothing ST Eng makes is specialized for Singapore, and its not anything we couild not have gotten cheaper elsewhere.
This fucking CEO and for that reason most, if not all, of the management there would have seen (if they are honest with themselves) that their products are inferior in many cases and more expensive in most cases than what is available elsewhere. Yet they continue to collect their nice paychecks and keep quiet. I have never once heard of a MINDEF or AGO or ST Eng personnel question the need for this or that weapon system. Its a parking ground for retired SAF Col and Generals and really a chiak liao bee org.

I agree with the abovementioned post, especially as it pertains to wasting money on R&D and incurring losses, as a place for retired generals and colonels (and sadly, that the entity pays them a very reasonable salary and bonus).
What a waste of taxpayers' money, when MINDEF could, and should, buy proven products from established countries.

She got it in her late 40's and was in perfect health prior to that. The family took great care of her and in fact she put on weight in the initial years. It was like a good working engine, running at idling speed and wear and tear is minimal.The feeding tube also has to be cleared & changed. This is painful. In the old days under SAE, Chartered, etc the military role for the precursor to ST Eng was to upgrade and modify the used equipment bought from overseas. Hence, you have AMX-13s being upgraded and modified. Some other companies would make licensed production of Merc and Fiat 3 tonners. M-16 and GPMG were all also licenced manufactured. All the equipment they were tasked with making or upgrading was within their technical means. Occasionally, they are called upon to make and develop specialized stuff like APFSDS rounds for the 75mm AMX tank gun, This is a legitimate role as no other manufacturers make this type of ammo. Occasionally also, they will foray into small arms manufacturing like SAR-80 (a total failure) and Utimax SAW ( a mixed success).
Then for some reason, they decided that the M113 Ultra and any of the many tracked APCs and ICVs on the market were not good enough for the SAF and choose to develop the Bionix. I know one of the goals was to export it. But really, with an American engine and many american parts, there were only limited places that it could be sold in. And who would buy such an important piece of equipment from a country and a company with no track record in battle or at war? The R & D and production line set up does not warrant the orders of about 400 for the Bionix and even less (135) for the Terrex. The R & D was so screwed up that one of the original goals of the Bionix project (a main tank variant) was totally not doable. They tried to put a tank turret with a low pressure 120mm tank gun but that did not work. Even a 105mm tank gun turret could not work. They even hired an American company to help but it was decided that it was a no go, so in the end had to order the Leo2 from Germany.
This kind of fucking org has been given a blank cheque by the PAP to do any fuck project they want without justification to the cost or potential losses or feasibility. Karma comes back to haunt this CEO. Maybe his guilty conscious gave him a stroke.
