If you look closely, the bullet hole is a clean shot hole and the windscreen is not shattered. The bullethole is too big for a 9 mm and hence not from a MP7 or a handgun. The windscreen is not shattered , unlike a 9 mm low velocity round which when fired would shatter the whole windscreen. hence a high velocity round was fired with high precision. assuming the car did crash through barriers, I have never known anyone or any bodyguard (not even septnaz) who can fire with such accuracy at a car zig zagging suddenly. obviously a high velocity amour piercing round from a sniper rifle using a laser targetting device aiming for the head was shot from somewhere the moment those idiots gate crash.

There is no mention which officer shot the fella, size of bullet hit, nor were the names of the person shot or arrested released. I have myself haved fired 9 mm from Glock . the policemen and certis guys carry at most 9 mm revolvers or glock. the gurkhas carry MP7 sub whcih fires 9 mm. shotguns are not allowed at road blocks in these situations as the pellets would spray all over and if the car is actually carrying explosives, it might cause detonation if a single pellet hits the detonator. same orders were given not to fire too many rounds in case you accidently set off the detonator. hence standard policy to prevent suicide car bombs from ramming past is to aim for the head and using special high powered sniper rifles with automated targetting(details is too sensitive here for bullshitters like narong or xebay). when you have more than 200 VVIPs ministars, generals, head of states, ministers of defence from all over with quite a few staying in shangrila, the security must be very tight with no room for error.
