In a desperate attempt to claw back lost support from angry voters, PAP Ministers are ‘crying’ one after another to win public sympathy.
One week after PAP Chairman Lim Boon Heng stunned the entire nation by weeply openly on TV at a press conference, another PAP minister has shed his ‘golden’ tears again.
Not surprising, he is PAP Minister without portfolio, who reportedly cried a few times during a farewell dinner thrown for him by Buona Vista residents on Friday night.
A photograph of him weeping and being consoled by surrounding grassroots leaders splashed across the Straits Times to portray him as a ‘soft’ man to win the hearts of voters.
With the PAP facing its toughest prospect to date, its leaders may resort to more ‘wayangs’ like this to tug at the heart-strings of Singaporeans.
PAP strongman Lee Kuan Yew said last night that Singapore still requires 900,000 foreign workers on work permits only. He did not reveal the number of foreign workers on S and E passes though.
Singaporeans should think hard about their future which is seriously threatened by the relentless influx of foreigners and not be distracted by such childish antics by PAP ‘crybabies’ to win their support.
