Boon Gay was posted as Director CNB. And the first thing he uncovered and went public was the years of wrong drug statistics before his time, when the Deputy Director CNB then was Ng Ser Song. Senior Assistant Commissioner of Police (SAC) Ng Ser Song (黄思松), aged 49, joined the Singapore Police Force (SPF) in 1987, after graduating from the National University of Singapore. He was awarded a Masters of Arts in Defence & International Security from the University of Reading, UK on a Singapore Government Scholarship in 1993.

2. SAC Ng has held various key positions in the Home Team, including Deputy Director, Criminal Investigation Department, Deputy Director of the Central Narcotics Bureau, and his current post of Director, Police Intelligence Department.

3. SAC Ng was awarded the Public Administration Medal (Silver) in 2010.
