SINGAPORE: President Tony Tan Keng Yam and Mrs Mary Tan will be on a week-long state visit to Hungary and Slovakia from Tuesday, November 12.
They will be in Hungary between November 12 and 14, and will be visiting Slovakia from November 15 to 18.
The Foreign Affairs Ministry said this will be President Tan's first state visit to Central and Eastern Europe.
President Tan will be accompanied by Environment and Water Resources Minister Dr Vivian Balakrishnan and Mrs Balakrishnan; Senior Parliamentary Secretary for Culture, Community & Youth Mr Sam Tan; and Members of Parliament Penny Low and David Ong.
