We thought we will get a better deal when we work together as ONE to deal with Barclay to get our EPL coverage. Now that we got Singtel to agree to share content with Starhub we find that we have to pay double our current fees!!! Naturally I am speechless!!! Thanks to all parties for screwing us again. Next time some warning ok so we can put some ky on first!!

Singtel is very arrogant in doing this and I will move over all my family subscription i.e land line, mobile phones (pre and post paid) ,internet and TV services to Starhub.
I will no longer have any dealings with Singtel from now-remembering also that they are one of the biggest employers of Pinoys.
Remember this when you cast your votes.

Although Starhub is a GLC, at least it is a joint venture which includes foreign companies.
Singtel, on the other hand, is directly Familee owned.
Singtel has fucked up so many times with its MIO TV service, I wonder why people still give money to it.

Those who may not have known such lousy service signed up with Mio and then got screwed for 24 months...the advertisements and road shows Mio put up in various shopping centres are are very frequent and aggressive.
...they have no choice but to keep on paying for 24 months....or else kena penalties to pay for the remaining of the contract...

That's a trap specially crafted to get you to sign up for a more expensive package. "Since I'm paying so much money, might as well pay a little more and get my money's worth" is precisely the kind of thinking that gets many into needless debt.
Sure you may be getting the Chinese+English channels. But will you watch all of them? How many hours a week do you spend watching tv? Also, compromising your lifestyle (e.g. going out less) and watching more tv after subscribing so as to 'get your money's worth' isn't a sensible thing to do.
