Maybe I can advise; based on my sales person back in 2010, the road belongs to UEM and it is supposed to be closed at 7pm until all construction for NI is complete. I suspect current residents may have pressured NI to open the road to provide easy access to BI town.

Also, Horizon Residence has no rights on that road, as I found out from the HR sales office when they were still selling the condo. Not sure where you got your news Crystal, but it's best to confirm the news before announcing it since it affects everyone negatively. HR sales person also said they will apply to UEM to open access into that road once the condo is complete.

Lastly, UEM will hand over the road to MBJBT to handle after they finish their construction in NI. As it is, all of us can see the big NI signage at the road leading to Coastal Highway, so that is a confirmed road for NI.

okie.. not sure about Malaysia k.. but in Singapore this will normally be the situation..

The developer will develop the land in phases and, of course, the internal roads. While the development of the entire parcel of land takes many years depending on the market, the developer needs to maintain and repair the access route during this period. Every phase completion is to submit as per normal TOP to authority like Npark, BCPU and LTA.

Even as the road is vested to the developer during this time, the government will check on the completeness of the road like the provision of perimeter drain, lamp post, culvert and development access entrance. The road will finally return to the government after the last phase completed.

with this i infer to the Nusa Idaman access. The developer is delaying the installation of lamp post to avoid the early spending of project budget and maintenance or.. even better.. since HR is building an entrance, they can conveniently pass the responsibility to them.. either way.. my complaint will still go hooho..

I agree that the junction is dangerous. The traffic coming in from the coastal highway is in full speed, cutting in to Nusa Idaman at that junction is like playing stunt.

forgot to mention after pass by thistle hotel , still go straight n its a downwards way which u will see e coastal....
enjoy e view. can see seafood restaurant etc there.

I did use the above route that u mentioned. As i passes by thistle hotel, i also came across 4 blocks of old condo or apartments. As i go along, I will come across a highway. But instead of going straight, i keep to my left when i saw the signage Taman Bukit Indah. Is a small lane. From there I turn right. And as i move along, there were shops on my left. After moving ahead, i will turn left. And thats where i notice on my right hand side is Nusa Duta and straight ahead is the new condo by Setia group. Hope u not confuse by my post.

oh. u dun exit bk indah , go further down then u will see horizon hills n exit to go ni

I think i know which route u are referring. When i reach the junction where on my right is Nusa Duta and number of banks eg Alliance, RHB, i make a rleft turn towards Bt Indah (roundabout). On seeing jusco, i turn left, reach a junction again and thats where i turn right towards a highway but will turn left towards NI.

So this route which i took did not pass by HH. So if that news about HH taking over the road (is true), at least i have my usual route to take. Hope i am right about this route.

There are mutiple ways to NI. The route Crystal and I suggested is faster becos no traffic controlled junctions. Your usual route thru bkt indah and jusco got traffic junctions. U can try not taking thr bkt indah exit, just cont straight along coastal highway towards legoland until u see Tmn Nusa Idaman/HH Exit on ur left and HH houses on your front right. Thats the route we like to use.

Ok. But the long route i took (if u can picture or visualise) does not affect the road "own" by HH, right?

U are right, bro. See how blur frog i am? I will google for HR location.

After driving around a few more times, you will be an expert. Basically I think we're just sharing on how fast it is to travel via the coastal highway to Horizon Hills or Nusa Idaman. I only turn right to BI if I wanna go to Habib or Tesco since that way is nearer.

Got a rendering picture of Nusa Idaman from the website. Anyone know if this rendering is phase 7 apartment? If yes that will look very impressive.
