I think many people still mistaken her for being arrogant. That was actually a revenge when one of the Chinese swimmers taunted her instead of giving her a friendly gesture. She did it to spite that Chinese swimmer. So, can't blame her. I think her action was mistaken by many.
Let me tell you, all champions are like that. I wasn't like that (pointy fingers) but when I walked among the crowd into a canteen, I could feel 'the wind'. Too bad, no cape or trench coat fluttering in the wind - ghya lor oo horng 行路有风。That was exactly how I felt after defeating the rest in sprinting.
But, I will never follow after that arrogant Guan Yu because it was his arrogance that killed him - 骄兵必败。And his defeat cause Liu Bei to lose a huge province.
