Much more enforcement is necessary to make sure to ensure that all drivers know that the license to drive is a PRIVILEGE and those unable to comply with road traffic rules and regulations should have their driving licenses revoked/ suspended.
The PCN/ pavement speed limit is 25/15kph, any vehicle driver caught failing to give way to pedestrians / cyclist (unless it can be proven that the pedestrian /cyclist was speeding (>25/15kph respectively)) besides being 100% liable for any injuries caused, should have punitive damages of 50% more imposed in contribution to an educational and victims assistance trust fund.
These car drivers who fail to slow down and give way to pedestrians and cyclist at ZEBRA CROSSINGS are just BIG BULLIES who think they own the road. I bet NONE of them have problems stopping to check at/before the stop line and politely give way to other traffic with right of way at traffic junctions whereby they have to give way to all traffic across major road whether travelling at 70 or 5kph to avoid collision; in compliance with the STOP LINE (/Give Way) RULE:euko82 (HWZ) said:
