i was earning more than her due to my professional experience after diploma for my internship, 2.5k a month (very good pay, I am plain lucky then for a student) for all the holidays during undergrad. Sch starts never work. basically could say I am bringing in about 12k annually x 4 when I was studying. It could only covers my daily expenses (never take a single cent from family). Yet after graduating I still have to spend about 1 and half year to repay the actual tuition fee loan from bank.

Totally agree, unless it is specialize in either finance, accounting or economics (but this is under fac of Arts and social Science in nus). most general biz degree are useless, when moving up the management, company often send its employee to do a MBA for free. that is why most general biz degree holder are jobless.

The students from well-heeled families study in universities for the experience, and thereafter might go to various graduate schools to study whatever they fancy for fun.
