2011 fresh grads command higher pay: survey
Fresh graduates of the 2011 cohort in Singapore are commanding a higher pay than their counterparts in 2010, according to a survey conducted by Hay Group.
In its 'Fresh Graduate Pay Survey 2011', the management consultancy firm surveyed fresh graduates across 100 companies from different industries.
The findings showed that the average starting salary is S$2,593 for degree-holders in 2011, compared to S$2,540 the previous year.
