The sprawling Singapore Pavilion at the upcoming World Expo in Shanghai is a three-storey structure built to resemble a music box. Its theme: Urban Symphony.
According to an online poll of Chinese nationals conducted by marketing communications firm Ogilvy PR Worldwide and global marketing research company Millward Brown ACSR, the 3,000 sq m pavilion is among the top 10 exhibits to visit at the World Expo, which will run from May 1 to Oct 31.
Designed by Singapore architect Tan Kay Ngee, the multimillion-dollar project is the biggest for Singapore at the World Expo, which is held every five years. The theme this time is Better City, Better Life.
The theme song for Singapore's pavilion, Every Touching Moment, is sung by Stefanie Sun, Tanya Chua, A-do and JJ Lin.
Their music video will be shown at the pavilion.
