MP Chen Show Mao’s Budget 2012 Speech
http://wp.sg/2012/02/budget-2012-csm/
Chen Show毛 is indeed, 不鸣则已,一鸣惊人。
According to Vichy WP philosophy, public transport is a social service belonging to the cluster of low productivity, labour-intensive industry that is critical to Singapore’s social needs and the cost (ie bus drivers’ salaries) must be kept low.
For this industry of bus drivers, Vichy WP advocates “a less stringent foreign manpower policy to keep costs low”. Foreign bus drivers are imported mainly to suppress wages. Thus, Singaporean bus drivers’ salaries are curbed and are forced to work even longer hours, in order to remain “competitive” against foreign bus drivers who are more willing to work longer and cheaper.
Singaporean bus drivers are one of the most underpaid and one of the most overworked in the world. Yet , this very inappropriately-named “Workers” Party, which is anything but about workers with all its MPs being towkays, professional elites, academics, jobless and none of whom ever been workers themselves, are abetting the PAP regime to import even more foreign bus drivers so as to make Singaporean bus drivers to be even more underpaid and even more overworked.
No wonder Vichy WP eunuchs stubbornly refused to stand up and to fight for the right of our very own SINGAPOREAN bus drivers when they were being bullied by SMRT into submission:
SMRT Drivers: We are frustrated by NTUC’s incompetency
http://theonlinecitizen.com/2012/10/smrt-drivers-we-are-frustrated-over-ntucs-incompetency/
Yet, Vichy WP eunuchs are now so desperate to stand up and to suck up to other FOREIGN bus drivers in their labour dispute with SMRT:
WP statement on bus drivers’ strike: SMRT must address workers’ grievances better
http://wp.sg/2012/11/wp-statement-on-bus-drivers-strike-smrt-must-address-workers-grievances-better/
Sadly but shamefully, these anti-Singaporean eunuchs will never stand up for our very own SINGAPOREAN workers against other FOREIGN workers. It is against their labour policy. They are more interested to support and encourage more foreign workers to come here, to replace and to trample Singaporean workers, especially against those low-wage workers.
These two-faced eunuchs had promised to stand up for Singaporean workers against foreign workers before election, but are now doing exactly the opposite after election.
For a very despicable double-crossing political party that campaigns on a virulent anti-foreigners’ platform that deeply polarised the entire nation, this is an act of brutal betrayal against all Singaporean workers.
Vichy WP must address Singaporean workers’ grievances better………..not only foreign workers’ grievances better.

Let’s refine the Manpower Ministry’s current segmentation of industries for dependency ratio ceilings, to ensure more targeted foreign manpower policies.
…..
Another cluster could comprise industries that contribute to meeting Singapore’s social needs, and would have a significant impact if higher labour costs are passed on to consumers. It could include social services, public healthcare and construction for public infrastructure. For these industries, we may need less stringent foreign manpower policies to keep costs low.
