I understand the need for performance during Xmas and the Deepavali and Hari Raya as part of Bonding between MPs and their residents....
but now they have completely lost their marbles, selling tix for performance in a hotel like they are some K-pop band?
Oh come on... do they really think they are celebrity.... isnt this EXACTLY what LKY accuse of CSM being... some celebrity ...
all the adulation have gone to their head....
The best tribute to supporters is to do your job and speak up for them in parliament, make sure estate is well maintained and provide alternatives solution... not to do this kind of nonsense performance
Even now, their performance in parliament with exception of JJ has been medioce at best....
CSM has been strangely quiet, with his credentials and knowledge, he should be proposing alternative policies like what the SDP are doing .... even though SDP policies are freaking dumb and hare brain...
Instead he ask inane question that any college student will know
15 Mr Chen Show Mao asked the Minister for National Development what likely effect will 50-year home mortgage bank loans have on the prices, financing and affordability of HDB flats.
Any1 know that longer loan mean more interest overall but this free up more spare cash for borrower and encorage speculation ... eventually driving home price up...
he could have follow up slamming Khaw and asking for more colling measure... instead he just show that he really doesnt even know basic economics

30 Mr Gerald Giam Yean Song asked the Acting Minister for Manpower how many workers in Singapore currently earn less than $1,000 per month (for full-time work) or less than $5.25 per hour (for part-time or daily rated work), with a breakdown by Singaporeans, permanent residents and work pass holders.
Apparently too lazy to check the Labour Force Survey himself...
71 Mr Gerald Giam Yean Song asked the Minister for National Development whether HDB will consider building flats ahead of demand so that first-time buyers, especially young couples, can obtain the keys to their new flats earlier than what is possible under the current Build-to-Order system whereby a construction tender is called only when about 70% of the units are booked.
Khaw Boon wan is already doing this... doesnt he read the news??
3 Mr Gerald Giam Yean Song asked the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Finance for each of the last five years, what is the total non-taxable capital gains from the sale of properties, shares and financial instruments that are reported to IRAS.
who report non-taxable stuff anyway ? this guy pay any taxes?
4 Mr Gerald Giam Yean Song asked the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Finance for each of the past 10 years, what is the average income and total income (including income from employment, trade, dividends, interest, property rental, royalties, estate/trusts and capital gains) of the top 1% of income earners in Singapore.
Bringing the class warfare to local shore.... another question that have no relevance except to incite envy among the losers.
These guys are completely clueless about what ail singapore.....
