Fully agreed, when all parties sit down and talk before an election, this is called cooperation
Unity mean all parties join together to from an Untied front
It is true opposition unity is a bit impossible but not cooperation

WP did participate in the horse trading session before the GE2011 nomination, so they were part of that cooperation. They conceded GRCs to SPP and SDA in Pasir Ris Punggol and Bishan Toa Payoh.

What makes Ravi think that LTK was referring to cooperation and not unity? LTK did not specify, he simply used the word "unity" as how SDP or SDA used it.

so long as the opposition parties cooperate to ensure very few multiple corner fights in future elections and they try to limit their badmouthing of each other to the media. that is good enough for me. i certainly don't expect to see a grand opposition alliance.
