The ceiling of the Bedok hawker centre has not been cleaned for more than 2 years since early 2011 as the ‘good office’ of the Hammerrhoid Town Council is obsessed in cutting down cost and increasing their profiteering activities.
Working and eating under a very dirty ceiling is already very unhygienic and unhealthy for the hawkers, patrons and residents.
Now with the haze, the problem is further compounded as more dirt and dust will be flying all over the hawker centre making the place even more hazardous than ever.
Towards a First World hawker centre???
