If anything, this episode clearly demonstrates the risks to Singaporeans of having a lack of
alternatives in every sense.

From the petty squabble between PAP and Vichy WP about the sale of town councils’ computer and financial systems, it is very obvious that both parties are treating the Aljnunied voters as bargaining chips in their political horse-trading.


If PAP has been screwing the system and deliberately sabotaging Vichy WP since Aug 2011, why didn’t Vichy WP slap the PAP and speak up for the Aljunied people then? Why now, after more than 1 year and after all the Aljunied people money had been successfully siphoned over to PAP?


In fact, if HDB had not criticised Vichy WP and gave them a red score on town management in the first place, Vichy WP most likely will continue to act blur and keep quiet on this issue just as they have always been sleeping and idling on every national issues in parliament. Vichy WP would be more than happy and very quiet to let Aljunied people money being pocketed by PAP. But why are the Aljunied people being treated so cheap and expendable by Vichy WP?


Very likely, Vichy WP is using the issue and Aljuined people as political hostages in their political backroom dealings with the PAP regime. As long as PAP does not attack Vichy WP, the latter, likewise, would not expose them.

Such is the state of the Duopoly political system in Singapore. Instead of becoming a First World Parliament, this is downslidng into a Byzantine palace power-broker game.

If this is so damn bloody important and critical to the public interest, then why didn’t Vichy WP open their big fat mouth and slap the PAP more than 1 year ago? Why wait until now?

They should have done it immediately when taking over the town council.

Is Vichy WP putting its political self interest ahead of the public interest?

Vichy WP has been running the town council for more than a year, they ought to have known the abnormal relationship between AIM and PAP, and the termination clause in the TC management contract. But it only very belatedly and very suspiciously makes so much noise until now.

Are they keeping quiet to cover PAP’s ass so that PAP will reciprocate and cover their ass also? Or are they simply incompetent, sleeping and ilding as they always are in parliament, only now then discover the relationship PAP and AIM?

Vichy WP is either very dishonest or very incompetent.


How is it in the public interest to have such a Johnny come lately clown making all the delayed telecast? Is this a First World Opposition or a Lost World Opposition.

Brother skponggol,I do not know,what I read is Chandra and Chew,formed a $2 company and took all the job of PAP town councils,until WP took one GRC,then they did not really want to co-operate ,pretend to say,OK,we help you but did nothing,I used to play this game when some fuckers was eyeing my job in an MNC,but then again i know Chandra and Chew for a long time from the nespapers,did they really did it?it must be some kind of conspiracy as I also played that game when I was working for Ang Moh,fuckers all.cheers,God bless
