WP appoints Nicole Seah as youth wing president, youngest CEC member Raeesah Khan

SINGAPORE — The Workers’ Party (WP) has appointed Ms Nicole Seah, 34, as president of its youth wing, and its youngest Central Executive Committee (CEC) member, Ms Raeesah Khan, 27, as deputy treasurer.

Dr Jamus Lim, 44, who is part of its elected Sengkang Group Representation Constituency (GRC) team alongside Ms Raeesah, was appointed deputy head of its policy research team. This is a new post that was not in the opposition party’s previous CECs.

CECs.The other two Sengkang GRC Members of Parliament (MPs), Ms He Ting Ru, 37, and Mr Louis Chua, 33, were appointed deputy organising secretary and deputy head of WP’s media team respectively.

WP announced the appointments in a statement on Wednesday (Jan 6), a day after its CEC met to approve of the appointments.
