WP and all interested parties: prepare yourselves

Elections could be called sooner than you expect. Prepare early, prepare NOW.

I am rooting for WP to improve on its margin. Winning is a possibility if no 3CF but at this juncture, I cannot say how it will turn out.

Let's just say if its a straight fight between WP and PAP, winning is a real possibility.

Seems like this is indeed the case. PAP's possible candidate has now appeared, in the person of a Dr Koh.

It would appear that SDP's determination to contest and make it a multi-cornered fight has encouraged the PM to bring forward the time-table for the by-election.

If it is a multi-cornered fight, so be it. No need to fret.

I am in fact looking forward to a PAP/SDP/WP clash. And if RP and SDA come in too, that would be interesting.

WP will not be taken by surprise but the other parties may realize they have lots of ground to catch up.

MCFs will be a reality in the future, everyone will get used to it. I had hoped that this stage will come much later in the normalization process of Singapore politics, but if it has to arrive now, then I welcome it. Only easy day was yesterday, as per my signature.
