This orientation camp yielded three election candidates who stood in Singapore's general elections in May 2011 - all under the The Workers' Party banner.
Yaw Shin Leong - Election candidate for Hougang SMC, now MP for Hougang (yeah!). (Also won the "Best Dialect Debator" award at the orientation camp.)
Angela Oon (温琼妃) - Election candidate for Nee Soon GRC. (Also won the "Most Xiao-on Freshman" award at the orientation camp.)
Frieda Chan - Election candidate for Moulmein-Kallang GRC.
