Out of curiousity, since just about every country in the region surrounding Singapore has gone on strike/had a protest but Singapore itself, what are the likelihoods that Singaporeans would ever go on strike...

People sound so unhappy about the government but there have been no mass political protests ever... Perhaps political demonstrations.

And would you join the strike/ demonstration.

Also someone told me that apparently IP addresses are still monitored in Singapore. I said I doubt so, won't they have to monitor hundreds of sites.

You can't not with LSS in charge and LKY ready to sue or sack you. Don't you recall the case of the Malaysian SIA pilot?

It really doesn't make sense though if a majority of the country is so unhappy. The government should be afraid of its people.

In SG, it has been the other way round my friend. Even under British rule.

if the people are stupid, yes the government should be afraid of the people. wait, the people should be afraid of itself in that case.
