The alleged victim told police she had exited the Fields Corner T station in Dorchester and was walking through the schoolyard of Harbor Middle School just before midnight when the incident took place.

London's The Daily Mail reports that as Tentoni ran off with the woman's handbag, he dropped two bags containing his own belongings including hygiene products, clothing and sneakers.

A birth certificate and note from the thief's mother also found inside the abandoned bags aided police in effortlessly tracking the assailant down.

Despite initially providing police with a fake name and denying any involvement in the robbery, the victim was able to positively identify Tentoni as her attacker.

It is reported the stolen clutch bag contained only an ID card, forty dollars in cash and a reusable public transport card.
