I have a walk in Tampines for the whole afternoon. It is amazing that at each and every corners in Tampines, you can always see "Work In Progress" with zinc plates rounding up upgrading work sites... From Lift Upgrading, Interim upgrading of walk ways, playgrounds (yes, quite a number of playgrounds!) to painting works... They are really dead serious~!

All these none of the Singaporeans benefit . Only contractor driving S-class .

And the Bengalas lauffinf home !

Election gimmicks by the ruling party to show that they cared. The constituents need to be more savvy than that but unfortunately most of them fail to see the reasons behind all these backhand moves by the rulers.

may i ask? will you really go to HK if you lose to MBT and company?:)

What you & your cadres, can offer to counter this?

now the money of work in progress is distributed by mapok chi-de...

imagine the scenario mapok chi-de lost to goh meng seng, a new MND minister takes over (sorry GMS, LKY will NEVER appoint you to replace Mapopk chi-de), and decides that Tampines should become a slum (so we can also produce our own slumdog millionaires), and withdraw funding and stop all work in progress, what will become of Tampines? become TenPenis?,,,,,,,

that my friend is a plausible happening,,,,

Dear Krafty,

I am being upfront with my options and I do not want to create unnecessary delusions or unwarranted high expectations of any sorts. I am just, I.

We live our lives on our own, for our families and make the choices along the way. While politics demands a certain level of sacrifices but I have never advocated anyone to make full sacrifices for whatever causes.

Some have said that one day in politics could be one year in life. That is why I have utmost respect to JBJ who have lived through more than half of his life in life without any rewards or whatsoever. For me, I will have to move on with my life after 10 years in politics. I may be a dreamer but I also when to wake up.

As for your question on whether as a supporter, would you want to support me if I so decide that I will leave Singapore if I lose. It is up to your choice. But one thing for sure, there is nothing to lose. If you don't support me, I will not get elected to serve, I will still have to leave Singapore. Whether I stay on or not, is really irrelevant. I could not serve fully as I wish to, as a full time parliamentarian. If you and others support me, there might be a high chance that I will be get elected to serve full time. I will have to make alternative arrangements for my family life then. My point is this, whether I stay on after elections or not, should not be your primary concerns. Rest be assured that once I am elected, I will become full time parliamentarian.

i.e. You should be more concerned about what if I get elected, rather than what if I don't get elected.
