Dear Aunt Agony,

I hope you can reply to me on this as soon as possible.

My name is Michael and I’ve been in a relationship with my Thai National girlfriend for almost 1.5 years now.
She’s a singer at a club and has been one since the start of our relationship.

I am 27 this year, and she is 35. The reason for our end of the relationship is just a clash of personalities.
She’s domineering and I can’t take it any longer with her temper and mood swings.

She is now threatening suicide and I’m worried for her safety. I want to take her somewhere she can be helped because I don’t want to call the police.
I have kept all the knives in the house and locked the windows.

But she has still told me she can consume detergent or break the glass to kill herself.
It could happen any time now and I’ve been lying to her about not wanting to break up but obviously this is not the way.
