Woman slashes hubby, then falls to death

She was angry with his gambling. He was upset she was flirting with other men.

What started as another argument between a couple ended in tragedy when the housewife slashed her husband with a chopper, then fell to her death from their 10th-floor flat.

The body of Madam Mun Soon Leng, 47, was found at Block 725 in Woodlands Avenue 6 at 11.20pm on Sunday.

This was just minutes after she had slashed her husband, Mr Ng Tiong Lam, 58, at least three times after their quarrel.

A woman slashed her husband with a chopper and jumped to her death from her flat.

According to The New Paper, 59-year-old Ng Tiong Lam received information that his wife, Boon Soon Leng was drinking and flirting with some men at a food court on Sunday night.

Ng did not immediately confront Boon, and instead waited for her at their flat. The confrontation led to an argument. The wife slashed his arms and a ear before slashing herself with a chopper.

She then, dashed out of the flat to seek help from a neighbour. The neighbour told the couple to call for an ambulance. When the medics arrived, the wife was nowhere to be seen.

Her body was located at the foot of the block. Ng has requested to be discharged from hospital so he can attend his wife's funeral.
